About our piano tuner and restorer

Sergey Gogolev , piano tuner Graduated in 1991 as a Piano Technician from the Institute of Acoustics (Pravdinskoe, Russia, 1991). His teacher was Valery Porvenkov, a leading acoustic expert and author of ninety-eight books on piano tuning. In addition, Sergey Gogolev has a degree from the Izhevsk City Conservatory (Russia) as a choir director.

Sergey Gogolev has conducted several seminars and practical workshops for Bechstein, Steinway, Blüthner and Yamaha. For several years he has been the official piano tuner of the International Piano Competition of the Principality of Andorra. He participated in the restoration of Pyotr Tchaikovsky's piano (State Museum of the Tchaikovsky residence, Votkinsk, Russia), as well as in the restoration of the harmoniums of the Montserrat Monastery and Archbishopric of Tarragona.

He currently works as an official tuner for pianists of the stature of Michel Béroff, Stanislav Pochekin, Jean-Pierre Dupuy, Manel Ruiz, Fedor Veselov and Jorge Romero among many others.
